Cave Biserujka

Cave Biserujka

The Biserujka Cave, which attracts attention with its natural beauty, was discovered more than a hundred years ago. The legend of a smuggler’s treasure hidden in a mysterious pit is connected to this cave. Landscaped trails and a well-lit interior are suitable for visits from children and the elderly. A number of stalactites, stalagmites and calcite pillars and underground galleries continually amaze visitors. A number of endemic species of animals and the remains of a 16,000-year-old cave bear were also found in the cave. The constant temperature of 13 to 15˚C makes this cave an ideal excursion destination in the hot summer months.
