Saint Chrysogonus’ Church near Glavotok

Close to Milohnići

Small like a box of matches, but monumental as a cathedral.

The small church of St. Chrysogonus, erected around the 12th century is located above the Čavlena Bay and is today away from significant roads. However, this area obviously once played a much more important role. According to the islanders’ stories, it was an esteemed church for sailors and fishermen. Nowadays, the complex has been partially restored and whilst being an interesting visiting point during a pleasant walk, it can also be found on marked walking trails.
