In the vicinity of Kras, the highest settlement on the island of Krk, a number of signs will direct you to Vela Gromača. However, when you reach the afore-mentioned location you will come across a pile, that is, a prehistoric tomb mound. The size of such burial mounds was determined by the status of the person buried there.
