At the beginning of the steps that lead from Dobrinjska placa (square) to the park (Jardin) is an interesting stone figure. It is a horse’s head that probably had the function of a carrier or support for a balcony or porch. According to oral tradition, during the Venetian administration, it served as a measure for a length of 1 cubit (63.5 cm).
