This partially preserved church dates back to the Middle Ages and was built in the Romanesque style. Its construction is evidenced by a Glagolitic endowment from 1230 and the fraternity of St. George operated in it until 1570. Since no trace of remodelling was found, it is assumed that it remained in its original form until the 18^th century when it was abandoned.
